This Privacy Policy explains how TextNativ (“TextNativ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information from Members and Visitors who use our website or TextNativ Access (together, the “Service”). It does not apply to third-party websites or businesses in Recommendations.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, mobile number, the questions you send to a Nativ, and the preferences, neighborhoods, and other details you share in messages.
Payment information: Stripe processes your payment. We do not see your full card number.
Information we collect automatically: when you visit our website, we may collect your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and the date and time of visits.
Cookies: we may use cookies to operate the website and improve performance. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide TextNativ Access, send Recommendations, personalize your experience, contact you about your membership, improve the Service, protect the Service, and meet legal requirements.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers: we share information with vendors that help us operate the Service, such as Stripe for payments and our website hosting and analytics tools. They use it only to do work for TextNativ.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Business transfers: information may move to a new owner if TextNativ is part of a merger, acquisition, or similar event.
4. Recommendations and third-party businesses
Recommendations are opinions from a Nativ. TextNativ does not own, operate, or control the businesses in Recommendations.
We do not share Member information with third-party businesses.
5. Response times
Nativs reply from 8 AM to 9 PM Central Time, 7 days a week. Reply times vary. We answer privacy requests sent to info@textnativ.com within a reasonable time.
6. Your choices
You can update your membership information, ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it. Email info@textnativ.com.
You can manage cookies in your browser.
Reply STOP to stop text messages. This does not cancel your membership.
7. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Member information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children
TextNativ is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a minor gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Visitors outside the United States
TextNativ operates in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Retention
We keep Member information only as long as we need it to operate the Service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
We may keep message history to give better Recommendations in the future.
11. Safety notice
TextNativ cannot respond to emergencies. In an emergency, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We post changes on our website with a new “Last updated” date.
